This was never an issue with the headphone ability. On top of that, and this is the worst in my opinion, the speaker is ALSO on the bottom so its pumping some nasty crackly white noise right onto my pregnant belly! The baby HATES it and kicks up a storm till I stop. Its just harder to make out whats going on with the speaker down by your belly instead of through headphones. So the result is it has to synthesize what it thinks it hears internally, and its confounded by the apps own noise blasting out of the iPhone speaker. So it would be impossible to press the mic to your belly with headphones in. With my iPhone 6, because Apple moved the headphone jack to the bottom, the app cant let you to put headphones on anymore in order to listenīecause the mic is next to where youre supposed to plug in headphones. I used this app in a previous version and was able to get proper fetal heartbeat around 27 wks on my iPhone 4 (I have very thin build so could hear it early).
